It is also critical in connecting the people with The Nature Reserve and creating a Culture of Care for their natural world. Your gift can help pay for instructional materials to provide hands-on learning opportunities, tools needed to remove invasive plant species, public education programs, transportation for students to attend field trips on The Nature Reserve and so much more. The Nature Reserve depends on you to help us create the opportunities for wonder, discovery and preservation through our diverse interpretive programs that we offer throughout the year.

You can make a general donation to The Nature Reserve with either cash or check for collection by our staff upon entrance to one of our programs or events as well. NOT SURE WHAT TO GIVE? HERE ARE SOME SUGGESTIONS:

• Donate $32 to Conserve Native Habitats! Give $1 for each of the 32 sensitive plant and animal species we scientifically monitor on The Nature Reserve and we'll protect their habitat.
• Donate $70 to Protect Endangered Species! Give $10 for each of the seven endangered species protected on The Nature Reserve, and help us preserve the ecosystems these species depend on. 
• Donate $200 to Inspire the Environmental Stewards of Tomorrow! Help purchase scientific equipment for students in our High School Environmental Science Career Program and you'll equip students with the tools and skills to better understand and care for our changing natural world.
• Donate $500 to Keep Kids Connected to Nature! The gift of $500 pays for an entire class to visit our outdoor classroom where they will study science and history through a hands-on interactive field trip.
• Donate what you are able! Any donation helps us reach our goal to preserve The Nature Reserve and connect the community to its rich natural and cultural history.
